      THREE SISTERS NATURE PARK WIGAN

Each development site varies in size, location, and biodiversity, including its proximity to nature corridors. Local authorities have partnered with developers to create managed, measurable community nature reserves, demonstrating genuine biodiversity net gain rather than minimal efforts like planting a few trees.

      MOORE NATURE RESERVE WARRINGTON

The Parkside site spans nearly two miles in a region with high biodiversity. With various habitats—woodland, grassland, scrub, and wetland—on both sides of the M6, it seems likely that similar developments are possible here.

RISLEY MOSS & BIRCHWOOD NATURE PARK WARRINGTON

Local managed nature reserves exist thanks to political will—politicians or local authorities who value the environment have influenced developers, as commercial interests typically prioritise profit over community or wildlife. These reserves are community assets made possible by such advocacy, and future generations will benefit from these efforts.
